Rain or snow, it’s always pool weather at Echota. Our indoor pool features mountain views, a sunlit retractable roof, and a gentle beach entry for kids—plus a deeper section for lap swimming.

Echota offers two fitness centers for year-round wellness—one by the indoor pool and hot tub, and another at Echota on the Ridge with modern equipment and easy access to the outdoor pool.

The Ridge Clubhouse offers sweeping views and elegant gathering spaces beside a stunning outdoor pool, while the original Clubhouse pairs rustic warmth with access to the indoor pool and fitness center—ideal for any season.

The Bryan Booe Memorial Riverpark, a 25-acre sanctuary along the Watauga River, sits just across Highway 105 from Echota. This protected natural space invites residents and guests to walk, picnic, or simply unwind by the water.

Family fun is right at home with classic backyard games just steps away from our condo, including bocce ball courts and a spacious activity lawn —perfect for a little friendly competition or relaxed family fun.

Enjoy miles of scenic walking and hiking trails that wind through Echota. Paved roads and gentle paths make exploring easy year-round, from the Riverpark’s peaceful mile-long trail to the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway’s breathtaking routes.

Echota’s two stocked ponds are home to trout, bass, and bluegill, as well as turtles, geese, and other wildlife. No fishing license—or even fishing—is required; simply enjoy a stroll, skip stones, or savor a peaceful moment by the water.
